The Crucifixtion
Just 5 days prior to Jesus' death, there was a great parade and Jesus was the king. It is hard to imagine that He went from praise to torture, humiliation, and death in less than a week.
When we reflect on His pain, we have to wonder why the cross? There are a lot of answers to this question:
- Substitution
- Redemption
- Justice
- Atonement
- OUR NEED FOR A CHANGE
The cross is a message of God's love for us. He would to the greatest lengths for you and for me. We can continue along our well worn paths or we can allow the cross to do its work and change us.
