Children's Day Out (CDO)
Children's Day Out Preschool was established in January of 1990 as a ministry of St. Charles United Methodist Church. Our purpose is based upon the Biblical command of Proverbs 22:6 to "Train up a child in the way he should go; and when he is old, he will not depart from it."
We view training as guiding each child's development through a loving concern for his/her physical, mental, social, and spiritual needs. Each child is a gift of God with special abilities and talents. We strive to provide the environment in which the abilities and talents of each child may be developed to their fullest potential.
Children's Day Out Pre-School has incorporated the following goals:
- Provide care for young children in a nurturing, enriching and Christian environment.
- Encourage the development of wholesome social relationships.
- Provide age-appropriate opportunities and experiences.
- Allow children to develop and appreciate their different skills, thereby expanding their place in the larger world around them.
