Jesus and Barabbas
In the passion story, Barabbas' contribution is often glossed over. He was a guilty man who expected to die for his crimes. But he become the first person to experience Jesus' sacrifice.
But the hard part of this story but we must admit that Jesus loves Barabbas just like He loves us. Our sin is no different than Barabbas'. He didn't deserve it. Neither do we. God's mercy and grace is for us all.
